Mr. Joey Maxwell’s main areas of expertise are in construction, manufacturing, real estate, and non-profits. He also provides exceptional service and risk management solutions across a diverse spectrum of other industries.
Joey is a solutions-oriented individual who excels in developing innovative strategic plans and executing them with efficiency. He maintains his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation and works diligently to remain ahead of the curve on industry related topics.
A native of Sandy Springs, Georgia, Joey graduated from Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University. Following his time at Clemson, Joey joined Teach For America where he taught at a middle school in Dallas, Texas for two years and led his students in achieving dramatic academic gains.
Joey is active in the Associated Builders and Contractors, Construction Financial Management Association, and the Associated General Contractors where he is a member of their Young Leadership Program.
Joey lives in Buckhead and is actively involved in the community. He maintains his passion for working with youth by serving as a member of an Atlanta Public Schools GO Team Board, Teach For America Metro Atlanta’s Alumni Board, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee, and he volunteers as an assistant football coach at Holy Innocents’. He attends Buckhead Church, is an active Rotarian with Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club, and in his spare time enjoys running, skiing, and golfing.
