Bartley’s interest in insurance began while playing football as an offensive guard for the University of Georgia. He won the SEC Championship in 2002 along with the Sugar Bowl, and was named to the All-SEC Academic Football Team while playing for Georgia. After the end of his football career he joined his father, J. Bart Miller, and brother, John Miller in the family insurance business.
