BIO

Mr. David Thatcher brings more than 23 years expertise in sales, management and marketing to his role as a Producer in the Construction Services Practice Group for Sterling Seacrest Partners, providing risk management and commercial/professional solutions to clients in the construction industry. David’s industry experience combined with the support of the firm’s Construction Practice and Benefit Group teams enables him to tailor solutions for commercial client’s property, general liability, worker’s compensation and employee benefits insurance needs.

Specializing in the areas of construction and contracting regulations, construction materials, and construction process (from the perspective of owners, architects/engineers, subcontractors and suppliers), David focuses on providing surety services to a wide range of clients.

Prior to joining Sterling Seacrest Partners, David was an architectural sales manager for Block USA, CEMEX and RMC Allied Materials, one of the world’s largest makers of building materials.

He received his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, with a major in marketing.

David is active in both the Associated Builders and Contractors and Associated General Contractors associations. He currently resides in Dunwoody, Georgia with his two children Luke and Lainey.

David also volunteers his time as the voice of the Georgetown Dolphins.
